London Historical Photos

The historical photos in this gallery have been provided for CCBR’s use by Barry Wells, a semi-retired freelance journalist from London, Ontario. Barry is a long-time supporter of London’s venerable Labatt Park, advocating recognition of the Park’s status. He founded the Friends of Labatt Park in 1993 in hopes that the stadium could be designated an Ontario Provincial Heritage Site, a goal that was achieved in 1994. He and the Friends continue to work to protect the interests of the park, culminating in the recognition of Labatt Park as the world’s oldest baseball diamond by Guinness World Records.
