Construction (or more properly, deconstruction) began this week on the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s recently announced Museum renovation and expansion. The wooden deck at the Museum’s east side is being demolished as preparations are being made for the new addition at that end of the existing Museum building. The addition is to include a new entrance, gift shop, accessible washroom, display area, and a climate-controlled, secure storage area. It is in this last area that the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research’s library is to be housed. We hope to be able to occupy our new space by spring or early summer of 2018.
