Minor League Ballparks

The table below provides location and other pertinent data for Canadian minor league ballparks. It is primarily the work of long-time SABR member and Kitchener resident Gord Brown, with the early assistance of the late Ted Lukacs, and helpful contributions from researcher Christian Trudeau and CCBR Director Martin Lacoste. Thanks also to SABR and its Ballparks Committee, led by Chair Kevin Johnson and past Chair Bob Bluthardt.

Every Canada-based franchise in any minor league recognized by Organized Baseball should have an entry, even if the location of that franchise’s home park is not yet known. Note that this coverage does not include such independent leagues as the InterCounty Baseball League. Supporting documentation is included via links to the appropriate source in the Details/Sources column, which also includes any discussion notes. [Note that any links to newspaperarchives.com pages require subscription.] The Orientation column indicates the direction in which the catcher faced.

Please note that this table is a work in progress. Corrections and additions, preferably accompanied by underlying source documentation, are welcomed. When citing information herefrom, please credit the Gord Brown Minor Leagues Ballpark Database.
